The school was immediantly evacuated, McCoy said. There were 225 children in attendance at the time of the fire. There were no injuries to any staff or students.

Crews conducted a primary search of the church and school and were able to shut the power and gas off to the boiler.

The church and the school will be shut down until the heat can be restored in the building due to the boilers being shut down, McCoy said.
