Help from other agencies had to be requested due to the size of the building.

Multiple units and parts of the building were damaged by a large amount of water released by the sprinkler system in the building, Sands said.

He said that the third floor was beginning to sag due to the weight of the water which was “concerning.”

A complete estimate of damages has not been released yet.
