4 local winners in latest Vax-2-School lottery

The fifth batch of 30 winners in the Vax-2-School lottery included four local students Friday:

The five winner of the grand prizes will be announced during the lottery broadcast at 7:29 p.m. on Dec. 3, which airs on WHIO-TV.

According to the Ohio Department of Education there will be 30 daily winners through Friday, Dec. 3. The winners of the$10,000 scholarship will be announced at approximately 3:30 p.m. on the Ohio Vax 2 Schools’ Instagram and Twitter.

The Vax-2-School program is giving away $2 million in prizes, which include 150, $10,000 scholarships and five $100,000 grand prize scholarships.

Ohioans, ages 5 to 25, who have received at least one dose of a vaccine are eligible for the program.

The program’s first deadline was Nov. 21. Those entered by that deadline were eligible for all of the program’s drawings and grand prize drawing.

Anyone who missed the first deadline can register by Sunday’s deadline to be eligible for 75, $10,000 scholarships and the grand prize drawing.

If a person misses that deadline, they can still register by Dec. 1 to be eligible for the grand prize drawings.
