Workers have been required to do that since December 24.
Visitors have also been strongly recommended by Five Rivers MetroParks to wear masks regardless of their vaccination status since Christmas Eve, a spokesperson told News Center 7 Thursday.
Five Rivers MetroParks has determined the requirement to wear masks based on the Covid-19 community spread levels provided by both the CDC and Public Health- Dayton & Montgomery County (PHDMC).
When the community spread level is high, masks are required for employees and volunteers while indoors and around other people and encouraged for visitors.
The mandate was removed when the level was lowered, along with CDC recommendations, the spokesperson said.
