News Center 7 Reporter Brandon Lewis was in the area of state Route 725 at Lower Bellbrook Road near Sackett-Wright Park in Bellbrook. The flooded park spilled water out into the roadway, Lewis said.

However, this is common for the area in Greene County, Lewis informed. When there is a down pour of rain, the geography is oftentimes prone to getting high water that spills over into streets and floods much of the area.

The road remained closed until maintenance crews were able to pump the water out.

Lewis says one street in Vandalia was closed Friday after a tree fell on a home. The most significant damage from Friday’s weather was on Helke Road, according to the City of Vandalia’s Division of Fire Facebook page.

One woman who lives where the tree fell on that home told Lewis she was okay.

A car got stuck in water in Miamisburg on Upper River Road near Soldiers Home Miamisburg Road around 8:27 p.m. Friday night, dispatchers confirmed to News Center 7.
