Foodbank to hold mass food distribution in Harrison Twp. next week

HARRISON TWP. — The Foodbank will hold a mass food distribution in Harrison Twp. next week at the Dixie Twin Drive-In in Harrison Twp. for people in need of food assistance.

The distribution will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17 at the drive-in, located at 6201 North Dixie Drive, a spokesperson for The Foodbank said in a media release Friday.

Those wishing to receive food are asked to not line up before noon, the spokesperson said. Recipients will receive chicken, fresh produce, grains, and other food products in the packages, the spokesperson said.

COVID-19 vaccinations will also be available and administered by Public Health Dayton and Montgomery County.
