KETTERING — A former Fairborn High School football coach who pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of assault in November was sentenced Monday.
Cory Hardin, 34, was sentenced to three years of supervised probation including 4 months of electronic home detention, according to Kettering Municipal court records. The exceptions of Hardin’s home detention include work releases, such as job interviews, child visitations and any court proceedings.

Hardin was also sentenced to a suspended jail sentence of 180 days in jail that he’ll be required to serve if he violates his probation.
Hardin is also required to not consume any alcohol and stay away from all bars, court records show.
In late August, Hardin was arrested early morning at a house in the 3200 block of Ackerman Boulevard. He was formally charged with one count of domestic violence and one count of child endangering.
