DARKE COUNTY — The Darke County Sheriff’s Office said it executed four search warrants on Thursday morning.
The warrants were issued at three locations along Peters Road in Fort Recovery and one address on State Line Road near Union City, Ohio.
Deputies in Darke Co. served the warrants with help from Muncie Police, Delaware County Sheriff’s Office in Indiana, the ATF, The NICB and the BMV. The warrants were issued following an investigation into numerous thefts and receiving stolen property in Indiana.

According to a press release, the searches resulted in the following items being recovered: multiple vehicles, excavating equipment, utility terrain vehicle and trailers. The property that was recovered is estimated at more than $300,000.
Authorities said multiple firearms and drugs were also recovered during the search.
Investigators said Adam Fisher, 22, was taken into custody and arrested on suspicion of improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle. They said the charges were not related to the search warrant.
The case remains under investigation.
