‘Fully involved’ house fire in Clark Co. requires full evacuation

SPRINGFIELD — Multiple crews responded to a residential fire Sunday overnight.

Pike Township and German Township in Clark County were called to the 5000 block of Hominy Ridge Road at around 1:10 a.m. after calls of a “fully involved” house fire, Clark County Regional Dispatch confirmed to News Center 7.

The “fully involved” house fire required first responders to evacuate all residents from the single-story home, dispatch stated.

All occupants were safely removed from the home and tended to medics called to the scene, dispatch informed.

As of yet, no one was transported to a local hospital, dispatch said.

The cause of the fire was unknown at the time of questioning.
