LOGAN COUNTY — The Logan County Sheriff’s Office captured an inmate who escaped while on a work detail Tuesday.

Edward Allen Morgan, 44, was found just after 8 p.m., according to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.

He has been incarcerated in the Logan County Jail on a drug possession charge since Oct. 30, according to jail records.
Logan County Sheriff Randall Dodds told News Center 7 that deputies found Morgan walking on County Road 10 about a half mile east of Bellefontaine, which is a little more than a mile from his work detail.
Dodds said Morgan will likely face escape charges.
