DAYTON — UPDATE @ 11:21 a.m. (Dec. 7):
The victim of the deadly Abbey Avenue crash has been identified by the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.
George Wright, 57, of Dayton, was killed after a head-on crash that occurred around 10:10 p.m. Friday.

INITIAL REPORT:
A deadly, head-on crash Friday night shut down a portion of Abbey Avenue.
Dayton police and medics were dispatched around 10:10 p.m. to the crash on Abbey Avenue between U.S. 35 and just before the railroad tracks.

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office early Saturday confirmed an investigator was requested because it was a fatal crash.
We have a crew on scene and are working to find out how many people were killed or injured.
