Buck Creek Clark County

MOOREFIELD TOWNSHIP — High bacteria levels have been reported at a beach at Buck Creek State Park.

The Ohio Department of Health’s dashboard for beach water quality issued a Bacteria Contamination Advisory for C.J. Brown Reservoir, a popular fishing spot.

Survey results from samples taken on June 6 show a high level of the bacteria E. Coli in the water.

It is not known if this is related to the “unidentified substance” found in the water last month.

We will update this story as new information becomes available.
