Glass City is an Ohio company, whose owner, Judith Tomb, is from Troy. Glass City is planning to revitalize the space. Glass City may redevelop the building itself, or they may sell it, the post says.

The preservation alliance says that Tomb’s “respect for our city’s and county’s history” is well known. Tomb and the preservation alliance have been working together to make a plan for the building, the post states.

The preservation alliance has previously stabilized the building, and put over $1 million into repairs and preservation for the building, the post says.

The preservation alliance says they will have a perpetual conservation easement for the building, so it has another layer of protection going forward.
