‘Hop with a cop’; Miami Twp. police, local business raise over $1,000 for Autism awareness fund

MIAMI TOWNSHIP — The Miami Township Police Department is partnered with a local business for an Easter Autism Awareness Fund-Jump event Sunday.

During the event more than $1,000 was raised for the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, according to a social media post.

The police department said officers were present from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. to join for the cause.
