SIDNEY — Fire crews extinguished a house fire in Sidney late Saturday night.
According to a release from the Sidney Fire Department, crews were dispatched to a reported structure fire on the 1000 block of Apple Blossom Lane around 10:24 p.m.
When crews pulled up on the scene, they could see fire showing from the front porch and roof.

All occupants made it out of the fire, including one dog.
The release goes on to say a box alarm was established for all off-duty personnel to respond, along with mutual aid from Anna, Lockington, and Piqua Fire Departments for assistance. The City of Sidney Street Department also responded with a salt truck due to the cold temperatures and road conditions.
The damage to the property is estimated at $35,000 to the structure and $15,000 to the contents.
Red Cross was contacted to assist the occupants due to them being displaced by the fire.
The Sidney Department of Fire and Emergency Services Fire Investigation Unit is investigating the fire.
