Huber Heights football player tests positive for coronavirus

HUBER HEIGHTS — A Huber Heights student athlete who is a member of the football team has tested positive for the coronavirus.

The school district announced three positive cases among employees Monday, making today’s announcement the fourth case in Huber Heights Schools.

“This morning we were made aware that a student-athlete has tested positive for Covid-19,” the school stated in a media release.

The student had a test conducted July 16, but wasn’t showing any symptoms at that time.

The school stated that the football team had their most recent training session July 16 and all upcoming football activities have been cancelled until July 31.
