HUBER HEIGHTS — A Huber Heights man was indicted on charges in connection to a hours-long standoff earlier this month, according to the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office.

Bruce E. Cameron, 47, was indicted Montgomery County grand jury on charges of abduction, aggravated menacing, and violation of a protection order, according to a release from the office.

Cameron is accused of holding a woman and her children at gunpoint inside a house on Highbury Road May 12, leading to a standoff that lasted around four hours.
Police said Cameron made threats to shoot at officers who responded to the house.
Cameron remains in custody at the Montgomery County Jail with his bond set at $50,000.
He is scheduled to be arraigned in a Montgomery County court May 24.
