Sisler was reported missing in February 2020.

A 911 caller discovered Sisler’s remains in a duffle bag on Oct. 8, 2021.

“I found some human remains. I fished this duffel bag out of bottom of the culvert there and I cut it open with a knife, there’s a human skull in there and a bunch of other bones,” an anonymous caller reported to dispatchers in a non-emergency phone call obtained in a public records request by News Center 7.
