DAYTON — The Humane Society of Greater Dayton held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening Wednesday morning of their new, large expansion.
The expansion opened at the society’s location on Nicholas Road in Dayton.
According to the Humane Society, the expansion has been in the works for years. The expansion will allow for a high-volume spay/neuter clinic, needs-based, full-service animal hospital and an animal rehabilitation center.
President and CEO, Brian Weltge, said, “We have listened to what their needs are and through these new facilities, we have worked tirelessly to provide additional resources to ensure all animals are valued and free from suffering in our community.”
