Humane Society of Greater Dayton hosts Furry Skurry 5K today

CENTERVILLE — Goats, dog stunts, costume contests and more are taking place at the 32nd annual Furry Skurry 5K today.

The 5K race kicked off at 8:30 a.m. at Stubbs Park in Centerville.

The no-kill animal welfare organization, the Humane Society of Greater Dayton, is hosting the event.

Running not your thing? There are plenty of other activities for you and your furry friend to do like a Goat Zone petting area from 9:30-12 a.m. and food trucks from 9-12 a.m.

Top overall male and female winners as well as top overall male and female runners with dogs will each win a $100 gift card to Runner’s Plus.

The event runs until 12 p.m.
