Overnight: Partly cloudy skies with mild and muggy conditions are expected overnight, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. A few areas of fog are possible by morning, but nothing too dense is expected. Lows will be around 70 degrees.

Saturday: It will be hot and humid to start start the weekend with highs in the middle 80s. The heat index will top off near 90 degrees. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop by the afternoon into the early evening. A strong to severe thunderstorm is possible.

Sunday: It will be partly cloudy and warm, but a bit less humid to end the weekend. An isolated pop-up shower or storm will arrive, mainly to the southeast. Highs will reach the mid-80s.

Monday: Lower humidity and average temperatures in the lower to middle 80s will make for a nice start to the workweek. The less humid air will be accompanied by mostly sunny skies as well.

Tuesday: Another nice day will continue the week with plenty of sunshine, low humidity and highs in the mid-80s.
