MIAMI VALLEY — Thousands of vaccine doses in counties across the Miami Valley are still available for clinics that begin as early as tomorrow.
Public Health - Dayton & Montgomery County has about 500 spots still available for its clinic at the Dayton Convention Center on Thursday. Premier Health on Sunday night was still trying to fill about 500 appointments for its clinic at the University of Dayton Arena on Tuesday, however as of Monday around noon those appointments are now full.

The remaining appointments are just in Montgomery County, but other counties also are still trying to fill spots for vaccine clinics this week.
Preble County Public Health said it had just under 50 doses available for its Tuesday clinic.
Clark County, which received the largest amount of doses amount this week, this morning said it too has remaining appointments after opening registrations last week. The appointments are available for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and about 2,000 spots are still available.
Vaccination rates statewide for those over 65-years-old are the following:
- Age 65-69: 32% of population has received at least one dose
- Age 70-74: 46% of population has received at least one dose
- Age 75-79: 55% of population has received at least one dose
- Age 80+: 62% of population has received at least one dose

The slowing in registrations comes as Ohio has stayed at the 65 and older age bracket for the last three weeks, however DeWine announced Monday afternoon that the age bracket will lower to age 60 and older Thursday, while also adding specific jobs that are eligible for vaccines.
