A beloved area Bengals superfan Paul Miracle has died.
News Center 7 first introduced viewers to Paul, known to some as ‘Pop Pop’ in late 2021, when the Bengals were in the Super Bowl playoffs.
Miracle was diagnosed with ALS, but never let that stop him from supporting his team however he could.
Paul and his daughter Sarah were able to go to the Super Bowl thanks to donations from strangers. They were even able to donate a leftover $10,000 to ALS research.
The two watched the Bengal’s recent playoff push although Paul’s health was declining.

“He appreciated all of you so much, he was so proud of his positive affect on people. His dedication to funding research for ALS, he didn’t want anyone else to live this nightmare. I don’t have all the right words right now but he will be so missed. I am blessed to have had him in my life,” his daughter Sarah wrote in a social media post.
Sarah said that the family will hold a gathering for Paul, Saturday March 4 from 3-6 p.m. at Sanner Funeral Home.
