AUGLAIZE COUNTY — Formal complaints have been filed with the state against a local floral business.
News Center 7′s Mike Campbell spoke to two brides who took to social media to warn others about Flowers by Patricia after they said they were left heartbroken and disappointed on their wedding days.
Two separate complaints were filed with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office last week against Flowers by Patricia, located in St. Marys.

Brayden Warniment tied the knot on October 7th, but her day didn’t look anything like she expected it to because her florist called her just before the vows.
“She told me I want to surprise you for your wedding, this is not the surprise I was hoping for,” Warniment said. “I got the call 20 minutes before the ceremony, ‘I’m sick, my staff is sick, I’m not able to decorate for you.’”
Warniment and her groom Seth still were married but she says without almost any of the $5,000 dollars of flowers she paid for.

Stacy Sealscott got married in July and she was also using Flowers by Patricia for her florist. She was told a crash on the Wednesday before her Saturday vows meant her flowers could not be delivered.
She feels like she should get hundreds of dollars back from the $2,200 dollar flower bill, and she was never given the chance to make alternative plans.
“That’s the frustrating part of this, I have no peace, there is no peace with this, I’m frustrated with how this went down,” Sealscott said.
The store’s owner, Patricia Sullivan, told News Center 7 the complaints have created a social media firestorm and Warniment’s wedding was too windy to put up a lot of the flowers she made. She also said and Sealscott’s wedding was a problem because her supply truck crashed. Now she says it feels like she is being bullied.
“I’m sorry for what these three brides are going through, this is my life and I pride myself on my work and I let three brides down this summer and all I can do is try to make it right with them,” Sullivan said.
