CLARK COUNTY — A 30-year-old woman is dead after a crash involving an ambulance in Clark County, according to a spokesperson from the Ohio State High Patrol.

As reported on News Center 7 at 5:00, the crash happened at the South Burnett Road and Rocket Avenue intersection in Springfield Township just after 2 p.m.
A preliminary investigation found that a Springfield Township ambulance was responding to an emergency, heading north on South Burnett Road at the time of the crash, according to the spokesperson.
A 55-year-old from Springfield was driving a Hyundai Santa Fe south on South Burnett Road and slowed down for the ambulance.
Eleni Whitt, 30, of Springfield was driving a Toyota Sienna and crashed into the Hyundai from behind, according to the spokesperson.
The Toyota traveled left of center and hit the ambulance head-on.
Whitt died on scene of the crash, the spokesperson said.
The ambulance driver and a passenger were taken to Springfield Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Hyundai driver and her passenger were treated on scene for minor injuries.
This crash is under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol Springfield post.
