Injuries reported after crash involving motorcycles in Butler Township

BUTLER TOWNSHIP — A crash in Butler Township sent people to the hospital Saturday evening.

Around 8 p.m. Butler Township officers were called to Frederick Pike and Old Springfield Road to a crash involving two motorcycles and a car, according to initial reports.

A Butler Township sergeant confirmed to our News Center 7 crew that people were taken to the hospital but did not provide information regarding how many people or their conditions.

Video from the scene shows the entire intersection blocked off with crime scene tape.

Two motorcycle helmets were also seen laying on the street from a bike on its side.

A car with heavy front and side damage sits in the side yard of one of the houses near the scene.
