Sheriff: Worker on concession stand roof at Darke County Fair injured in fall

(UPDATE @ 6:45 p.m.:) A man working on a concession trailer roof Wednesday afternoon at the Darke County Fairgrounds fell about 10 feet and had to be flown to Miami Valley Hospital, the sheriff's office said.

The worker, whose name was not released, suffered serious injuries, according to the sheriff’s office.

A bystander started CPR until a rescue squad arrived.

CareFlight has been called to the Darke County Fair after someone fell from a concession trailer.

The accident happened near the horse barns shortly before 3 p.m.
