Miami Twp. police on Tuesday confirmed to News Center 7's Kate Bartley they believe an aide injured a patient at the facility, 3800 Summit Glen Drive, and they have been investigating since January.

Officials at the facility declined to answer questions, demanded Bartley leave and referred her to an attorney for the facility.

The attorney said the employee in question no longer works there and facility officials are cooperating with police. This news organization is not identifying the former employee because no charges have been filed.

This news organization is working to learn more from the Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office and police and will update this developing report as warranted.
