DAYTON — Police are investigating after a dead body was found in the woods on Burkhardt Avenue just after midnight.

A neighbor called police to report that there was a body in the woods near the 5000 block, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.
We are working to learn the identity of the person and when an autopsy will take place.
