DAYTON — UPDATE:
Two people were taken to the hospital after a shooting in the 200 block of Fernwood Avenue Tuesday morning.
One man and another male juvenile were both shot in the hand and taken to the hospital, according to Sgt. Clinton Evans with the Dayton Police Department.
A white SUV was towed from the scene as well. One of the windows was shot out, police say. They are working to gather evidence and learn the SUV’s involvement in the shooting.
Investigators are working to gather suspect information and say that multiple shots were fired, but only the two males were hit.

INITIAL REPORT @ 3:18 a.m.:
Investigators are on scene of a reported shooting in Dayton Tuesday morning.
Crews were requested to Fernwood Avenue just before 2:30 a.m. for a report of a shooting.

Medic units responded to the scene for at least one person, according to initial scanner reports.
Crime scene tape is up in the 200 block as police work to learn more about the incident.
