MIAMISBURG — In just a few days people have donated more than $6 million to Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin’s online fundraiser for his Toy Drive.
Some of that support is coming from the Miami Valley.
The “Buffalo Bills Backers of Dayton” is a collection of Bills fans who live in the area.

Every weekend during the NFL season they meet at Bennett’s in Miamisburg to watch the games.
Sunday when the Bills take on the Patriots the group will not only be tuning in but also collecting donations for Hamlin’s charity.
The group will collect the donations at Bennett’s and contribute them to Hamlin’s charity on behalf of the Buffalo Bills Backers of Dayton.

The group’s president, Casey Davis, said it’s a tough time for Hamlin, but he’s just hoping he can pull through,
“It’s much more than football. In a small way, the hope is that he comes through this in good shape and he gets out and sees all the love and support that’s just been flowing from Bills fans, fans in general, just people in general. I think that will warm his heart hopefully,” Davis said.
If you can’t make it out to Bennett’s on Sunday, you can also reach the Buffalo Bills Backers of Dayton on their Facebook page.
