Dispatchers tried to get more information on what happened, while crews were on their way.

“Where in your body have you been shot?” the dispatcher asked.

“I’ve been shot. I don’t know. I can’t feel my leg,” the caller said.

A witness’s voice comes on the call and tells dispatch what they saw.

“I was standing outside Burger King, and I heard something, and I seen him fall out the car… he fell out of his car,” the witness said.

“It’s just Springfield. It’s just, it’s really normal, really, honestly, just got to kind of stay out the way, stick to yourself, and stay home,” Jeremy Crable said.

Crable said he tries to not let the crime and violence get to him.

“Try not to let anything going on outside here really affect your life, or you’ll just be scared your whole life,” he said.
