News Center 7 anchor James Brown was excited to return to the studio, after recovering from COVID-19.
“I’m just so grateful that it wasn’t any worse than it was for my family,” James said.
In January, James’ wife developed a bad cough for a few days. James did not have symptoms at first. However, they both tested positive for the virus.
“We did everything we could for the better part of 10 months to be extra careful and extra safe, and unfortunately it happened,” James said.
A few days after testing positive, James lost his sense of smell for about four days. Then, over the weekend while walking outside he noticed a shortness of breath.
“I had such minor symptoms,” James said. “I really feel for people who have much more serious symptoms, and people who have really struggled, and people who have lost their lives.”
He returned to the studio Wednesday.
