All lanes reopen after deadly crash on I-75 South near Springboro Pike exit in Moraine

MORAINE — UPDATE @ 7:15 p.m.: All lanes of I-75 South have reopened.

UPDATE @ 5:51 p.m.:

A Montgomery County Coroner’s Office vehicle is on scene of the accident on I-75 South near the Springboro Pike exit in Moraine.

One southbound lane has been reopened; The other two lanes remains closed as the investigation into the fatal accident continues.

INITIAL REPORT

One person has been killed in a crash this afternoon on I-75 South near the Springboro Pike exit, Moraine Police Sgt. Andrew Parish said in a news release.

I-75 South at the Springboro Pike exit (50B) will be closed until further notice while police investigate the crash.

The police department began receiving 9-1-1 calls just before 3 p.m. about a traffic crash on I-75 South near Dryden Road involving at least one vehicle that had rolled onto its top.

As of 4:30 p.m., police have confirmed one fatality. The identity of that person will not be released until the next of kin can be notified. The conditions of other people involved in the crash are not known.
