KETTERING — The Kettering Recreation Center indoor pool and the splash pad at Kennedy Park are both expected to open this month with restrictions in place due to COVID-19 protocols.
The indoor pool will reopen on June 22, said Mary Azbill, the city’s community information manager. The outdoor water park will remain closed for the 2020 season.

The city also is finalizing the plans to reopen the splash pad at Kennedy Park. However, a final date has not been announced, but the city is working toward an opening this month.
Azbill also said the track at the rec center will reopen on June 15 and playgrounds at all city parks will reopen on June 10. Both the track and playgrounds will have some restrictions.
The city expects to address the openings during Tuesday’s city council meeting at 7 p.m.
