KETTERING — A Kettering robbery suspect accused of stealing $10,000 worth of vaping devices and cash from the Stroop Market is out of jail after posting bond Monday.
Quinton Johnson, 22, of Dayton, faces a single count of aggravated robbery after he was accused of robbing the business at 1901 W. Stroop Road last Monday.

Surveillance video from the store showed who police said was Johnson coming into the business around midnight The video shows the suspect going to one of the store’s refrigerators before pulling out a handgun and demanding money from the cash register.
In the video, the suspect also forces the clerk to fill a backpack with vaping devices before running off from the store.
Johnson was arrested and booked into jail. His bond had been set at $75,000 after a not guilty plea was entered. He posted bond Monday and is now out on electronic home detention, records show.

The robbery is one of at least five that have happened in southern Montgomery County since Nov. 7.
Deputies in Washington Twp. are looking for a person who has robbed the Circle M Convenience Store on East Spring Valley Pike near state Route 48. Investigators said a person with the same description has robbed the store three times, including on Nov. 7, Nov. 13 and Nov. 19.
Kettering Police also had another robbery last week on Thursday at the Speedway at the intersection of Wilmington Pike and Brownleigh Road In that case a 15-year-old was arrested after officers said he showed a gun and demanded money from the business. The weapon used in the robbery at the Speedway was recovered, police said.
