KETTERING — Kettering City Schools Forward Foundation will be officially launched this morning in partnership with Kettering City Schools at 11 a.m. at Fairmont High School’s Recital Hall.

It has been created in partnership with Kettering City Schools to provide opportunities to enhance the positive educational impact for Kettering City Schools students and their families, according to a media release.
The foundation will work to connect students, families, alumni, businesses, and the community to move the Kettering City Schools forward now and for future generations.
“We have strong traditions in Kettering and an alumni network that stretches far and wide,” said Jessica Stickel, executive director, who will lead the KCS Forward Foundation.

The purpose of the foundation is to make an impact by facilitating grants, externships, in-kind donations, and special projects to benefit the students and families of Kettering City Schools, the release said.
