KETTERING — The Kettering school board will hold a public forum tonight to give parents and members of the community to address the board regarding the reopening of the district’s campuses.

The forum begins at 6:30 p.m. and will be streamed on the Kettering City Schools YouTube channel.

Signups to speak at the forum have already closed and the district says it has a full list of people that will address the board.

The feedback will come ahead of a special board meeting scheduled for Friday morning.

“The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the emails the Board of Education has received from citizens and the comments presented during the Public Forum and to provide direction to me and my Central Office team regarding the reopening of our schools,” said Superintendent Scott Inskeep.

The district previously delayed the start of classes to Sept. 8., when a phased return is currently planned for students.
