Three Beavercreek children collected donated stuffed animals and donated them to Dayton Children’s Hospital for the holiday season.
The children collected the donations from around the Miami Valley prior to Christmas and delivered the bears to the hospital, so they could be distributed to children who are brought into the emergency room between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
Hospital officials said the children brought the hospital approximately 175 stuffed bears to distribute to patients.
News Center 7’s Malik Perkins will have more on the story behind the donations on News Center 7 beginning at 5 p.m.
