Kings Island announces 2022 concert series

MASON — Live music is returning to Kings Island.

The 2022 Kings Island Concert Series at Timberwolf Amphitheatre will include the most summer concerts at Timberwolf since 1995.

For the first time, Kings Island will not require concert goers to purchase admission to the amusement park.

Concert tickets will include free parking after 5 p.m. and an exclusive entrance to Timberwolf prior to the shows.

This year’s concert series includes:

• June 28: The Avett Brothers
• July 9: Berlin & A Flock of Seagulls
• July 22: 3 Doors Down with special guest Candlebox
• July 23: Skillet with special guest Jordan St. Cyr
• August 20: Five for Fighting with special guest The Verve Pipe

Kings Island Gold and Platinum passholders will have access to an exclusive ticket pre-sale on April 27 at 10 a.m. through April 28 at 10 p.m.

Tickets will go on sale for the general public April 29 at 10 a.m.
