Kings Island to increase hourly wages for seasonal workers

Kings Island announced Monday it is increasing hourly pay rates for its seasonal positions.

Hourly wages will now be between $11-$14 for the 2021 season.

The higher pay is for lifeguards and security team members.

Job opportunities are available in all park operating areas, including Rides, Merchandise, Park Services, Food and Beverage, Guest Services, Aquatics, and more.

Additionally, Kings Island said it offers discounts, reward and recognition programs, scholarships, free meals, exclusive events and free admission to any Cedar Fair park.

Park officials said they are expecting to hire more than 4,000 seasonal associates ahead of its May 15 opening.
