Kings Island officially goes cashless

MASON — Kings Island officials have announced that the park has officially gone cashless.

As of Friday, July 16, all in-park locations will only accept credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Those without cards will be able to use a Cash-to-Card kiosk that can transfer cash to card without a fee. The card will be accepted anywhere.

Kiosks will be located at the following locations throughout the park and Soak City Water Park:

  • Front Gate Main Entrance
  • Festhaus
  • Diamondback Trading Post
  • Coney Mall Arcade
  • Restrooms by Rendezvous Run
