HARRISON TOWNSHIP — I-75 was shut down for over 20 minutes Tuesday morning after a driver lost control and crashed in Harrison Township.

Just after 5:50 a.m. crews were dispatched to a crash on I-75 Northbound near Needmore Rd on reports of a 2 vehicle crash.

According to a spokesperson for the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, no one was injured.
One driver lost control of their vehicle after hydroplaning in heavy rain.
The vehicles spun, and one car blocked two right lanes and another vehicle blocked the left lane.
OHGO cameras showed a white sedan with its side facing oncoming traffic.
The highway was shut down form 21 minutes, according to the spokesperson.
The highway has since been reopened and traffic is flowing.
