1 in custody after large police presence in Dayton

DAYTON — UPDATE @3:55 a.m.

A person is in custody after a large police presence in Dayton early Friday morning.

Dayton officers initially responded around 1 a.m. to a report of shots fired at the 1600 block of Humphrey Avenue, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.

An iWitness7 viewer sent us cell phone video and a photo.

Dispatchers tell News Center 7 that a person is in custody and officers are no longer on the scene.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired around 1 a.m. at the 1600 block of Humphrey Avenue, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.

It showed several cruisers and officers on the scene and caution tape surrounding the scene.
