Our crew spoke to Natalie Brooks, whose Ford Escape was pulled over nearby. She had hit the pothole and popped her front right tire.

Brooks described hitting the pothole as “terrible,” and sounding like she had been hit.

“It was scary,” she said, “because I wasn’t expecting it.”

She also said that when she first saw the hole in the road, she didn’t immediately realize what it was. Brooks said that she initially thought someone had lost something out of their car, until she hit it.

It is unknown how many vehicles were damaged from hitting this large pothole.
