1 man hospitalized after shooting in Harrison Township

HARRISON TOWNSHIP — A man was taken to a local hospital after a shooting in Harrison Township, a Montgomery County dispatch supervisor confirmed.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a residence on the 3000 block of Otis Drive at 4:58 p.m., according to Montgomery County Sergeant Johnathan Miller.

When crews arrived, they located a male inside the residence with a gunshot wound to his shoulder, Miller said.

The victim told deputies he was shot in front of the residence by a group of unknown individuals.

Miller said the victim and witnesses were uncooperative.

It is unclear how severe the man’s injuries are.

No suspects have been detained in this shooting.

Neighbors told News Center 7 they found bullet holes in their homes. No one else was injured during this incident.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit is investigating this incident.
