MONTGOMERY COUNTY — Law enforcement that is a part of the “Dayton Service Initiative” will focus enforcement efforts on state Route 48 today.
Officers will look for crash-causing violations such as reckless driving, impaired driving, speeding, failure to yield, and “jaywalking.”

According to a release, SR-48 is one of the top routes for pedestrian-related crashes in Montgomery County.
The specific times or areas of SR-48 that will be enforced were not included in the release.
The Dayton Service Initiative includes authorities from Ohio State Highway Patrol, Dayton Police Department, and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
