DAYTON — Two people were taken to a local hospital after a car crash in Dayton Monday night, according to Dayton Police.

Dayton police and medics were called to the intersection of N Gettysburg Avenue and Hoover Avenue on reports of a two-car crash just before 10 p.m.
Dayton Police told News Center 7 that the crash happened after a car ran a red light and slammed into an SUV.
The collision pushed the vehicles into a fence near the intersection.
Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
