Haylee A. Waddle, 20, of Brookville was killed in the single-car crash, the patrol said.

The crash was reported around 7:50 a.m. on Eaton Lewisburg Road near Kaylor Road, which is about 5 miles north of Eaton.

A preliminary investigation found a 2005 Chevy car was traveling west on Eaton Lewisburg Road when the driver went off the side of the road, overcorrected, and hit a utility pole causing the car to overturn, according to state troopers.

Waddle was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car as it overturned, state troopers said.

Excessive speed and the driver not wearing a seat belt are being investigated as the contributing factors in the crash. Alcohol or drug impairment are not believed to be factors, state troopers said.
