At least 1 trapped inside vehicle following Huber Heights crash, reports say

HUBER HEIGHTS — At least one person was trapped inside a vehicle following a crash in Huber Heights late Saturday overnight.

Huber Heights crews, assisted by Butler Township Fire and Rescue, were dispatched near Interstate 70 westbound at the Old Troy Pike and State Route 202 exit at around 4:45 a.m. on reports of a crash with a trapped victim, according to the Miami Valley Dispatch website and traffic on emergency scanners.

It is currently unknown if anyone was injured in the crash; however, medics were dispatched to the scene as part of the emergency protocol.

Crews at the scene reported that the vehicle was on its side, emergency scanners said. They attempted to extricate the person from the side facing up.

Huber Heights Police is leading the investigation into the crash.
